Abstract

Problems in a girls when they realized during pregnancy outside marriage and will become single parents for her son, it would certainly be heavy demand for herself. Initial step so that young girls can survive in the next life requires selfacceptance process. The aim of this research is to know in teenage girls selfacceptance that has become a single parents due to pregnancy outside marriage. This research uses qualitative approach with case studies. Informant in the research is composed of two girls who has been a single parents to pregnancy outside marriage. Data in the research, using methods in-depth interviews, while the field observations and interviews. From the result of the research,self-acceptance on two young women who to be single parent due to pregnancy outside of marriage, the reception quality based by better self-understanding, self-adjustment, economic conditions, social support their families, and education level. Results of research shows there are differences quality self-acceptance informers first (mawar) with second informers (melati). In quality, informers first (mawar) have quality self-acceptance a good. Such as willing raising children, trying to find information on parenting, working for children, are able to interact with the environment, and is able to make peace with his former partner, while second informers (melati) have quality acceptance herself was not so well. such as the lack of closeness with the child, not trying to find information on parenting, is not able to interact with the environment well, not able to reconcile with former spouse It is influenced by the lack of understanding ourselves, the lack their adaptation, the low education, and low family economy.
