Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of the construction of the Dhoho Kediri International Airport in improving the welfare of the people around the airport, namely in the village of Bulusari. The analysis was carried out by looking at the differences in the condition of people's welfare before the existence of the Dhoho Kediri International Airport and after the existence of the Dhoho Kediri International Airport, based on research on observations of the community's impact provided by this area. The method used in this research is a quantitative descriptive method. Sampling was carried out using a purposive sampling technique, with a total of 91 respondents living in Bulusari village which was affected by the development. Data were analyzed using the Sample Paired T-Test method. The results of this study indicate that the existence of Dhoho Kediri International Airport has a significant impact on employment, economic access, social and environmental impacts. However, the existence of Dhoho Kediri International Airport has no significant impact on revenue. Therefore, the Bulusari village government and Dhoho Kediri International Airport need to continue to be developed irrationally for the sake of increasing precisely in encouraging the growth of the welfare of the surrounding community.
