Abstract

this study aims to analyze how the effect of dividend policy as a moderating variable on leverage, profitability, and liquidity on firm value. the method used is a time series using the stata 16 application. the secondary data used are from manufacturing companies listed on the jakarta islamic index 70. the samples used in this study were 12 consumer good companies, using financial statements for 2 consecutive years, namely 2020-2021. the result of this research is that leverage has a significant effect on firm value. profitability has a significant effect on firm value. liquidity has no significant effect on firm value. simultaneously, the variables in this study have a positive but not significant effect on firm value. while the moderating variable, namely dividend policy cannot moderate and cannot strengthen the relationship between financial ratio variables and firm value.
