Abstract

Reality in the social life of society always has diversity. As a marginal group, people with disabilities are often stereotyped as a result of heterogeneity of society. Stereotypes against persons with disabilities are basically obtained because of the hereditary culture regarding the lack of knowledge of people with disabilities. Have a negative impact on people with disabilities, that these groups are powerless, even doing mystical things. This study was conducted to analyze how Rumah Inklusif demonstrates its communication strategy in campaigning for inclusive values that can be use as education to overcome society against people with disabilities in the midst of stereotypes. This study uses from of descriptive qualitative research with critical phenomenological approach. The results of the study indicate that the communication strategy used by Rumah Inklusif in campaigning for inclusive values is to use educational methods through activities that have become community culture. The activity is adopted, packaged, and then presented again with the inclusion of inclusive values in it.
