Abstract
Resilience is one of the important abilities for a healer to have. Moreover, if he has a background of a thug. This study aims to find out going to positife of ex0thug healers in village x. this research is a qualitative reaserch with a case study approach. Collecting data in this study using observation and intervews with one main informant and two significant others. Based on the results of the study, it was found that there were five phases going to positive for ex-thug healers, namely the suffering phase, self-acceptance, finding the meaning of life, realizing the meaning of lifeand appreciating the meaning of life, in the process of going to positive, religiosity plays an important role.
