Abstract

Language has an important role in human life, classical guidance using media is one of the learning methods that can improve children's language skills. This research is motivated because children's language skills have not developed at Annur Karawang Kindergarten, West Java, especially in language. This research aims to improve language skills in children and provide fun learning through classical guidance by using media at Annur Karawang Kindergarten, West Java. This research is a type of qualitative research with qualitative descriptive analysis. The methods used in collecting data are obtained from observations, interviews and documentation. The subjects of this study were principals, teachers and 31 students. Data analysis is carried out by compiling and processing data obtained from the field, then analyzed so that conclusions can be drawn. How to find out the validity of author data using triangulation technique. The results of the study show that to find out classical guidance activities through the media to improve children's language skills, namely by using the stages of implementation when classical guidance activities. The results of the study also show that the language skills achieved by students at Annur Karawang Kindergarten, West Java have improved from before.
