Abstract

This study aims to (1) produce physics e-modules by utilizing local wisdom in making geblek, (2) find out the quality of physics e-modules that utilize local wisdom in making geblek according to media experts and material experts, (3) find out students' responses to e-modules -Physics module by utilizing local wisdom in the process of making geblek. This research is a Research and Development or R&D research. The procedure for developing this research uses a 4-D model, which includes 4 stages, namely (1) Define, (2) Design, (3) Develop, (4) Disseminate. This research is limited to the develop stage, namely limited trials. The instruments used in this study were instrument and product validation sheets, product assessment sheets, and student response sheets. Meanwhile, the assessment of the quality of the physics e-module containing local wisdom in the process of making geblek uses a Likert scale with a scale of 4 and student responses use the Guttman scale in the form of a checklist. The results of this study are the physics e-module on temperature and heat materials utilizing local wisdom in the process of making geblek for SMA/MA students. The quality of the physics e-module based on the assessment of material experts and media experts has a very good category (SB) with an average score of several aspects respectively 3.66 and 3.33, and the physics teacher's assessment has a very good category (SB) with an average score 3.83. Meanwhile, the responses of students in the limited test obtained the agreed category (S) with an average score of 0.89.
