Abstract

Local wisdom is a form of regional wealth that is characteristic and can be used as a source of learning for students. One of them can be applied in science learning which is presented in the form of modules. This research aims to 1) Produce the science module integrated local wisdom to facilitate the learn motivation to students of junior high school, 2) Knowing the feasibility of the science module integrated local wisdom to facilitate the learn motivation to students of junior high school, and 3) Knowing the response of students to the science module integrated local wisdom to facilitate the learn motivation to students of junior high school. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) research. The development procedure of this research uses the ADDIE model which consists of five steps, namely (1) Analysis, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation, (5) Evaluation. The research was limited to the implementation stage of large group tests. The research instruments used are validation sheets, module feasibility assessment sheets, student response questionnaire sheets, learning motivation questionnaire sheets and implementation observation sheets. The assessment of product feasibility quality using a likert scale with 4 scales and student responses using the Guttman scale in the form of a checklist and motivation questionnaires with a likert scale of 5 scales. The implementation of the module uses an observation sheet in a descriptive form. The results of this research are in the form of an integrated science module of local wisdom to facilitate the learning motivation of junior high school students. The feasibility quality of the Science module based on the assessment of material experts is of good quality with a score of 3.19, media experts and Science teachers have Very Good quality (SB) with scores of 3.51 and 3.56.. The results of the small group and large group trials obtained a response that agreed with a mean score of 0.95 and 0.98. The results of distributing the learning motivation questionnaire after using the module on the indicators of diligent, independent and happy to find and solve problems obtained a percentage of 75.2%; 61.76%; 69.6% in the good category. The result of the implementation of the module by the observer is that the developed module is able to arouse interest, increase knowledge and introduce local wisdom around it and is able to encourage students' learning motivation.
