Abstract

Cases of crime and sexual deviation among students are increasingly common. This reality forces educational institutions including Islamic boarding schools to design sex education strategies. The purpose of this study is to reveal the goals applied in sex education to students, to analyze the materials used in sex education, to reveal the methods used by assatids in providing sex education to students and finally to analyze the assessment and evaluation of sex education for students at Pondok Pesantren Al -Falah Assolihaat. The research method uses descriptive qualitative methods with triangulation techniques as the analysis model. This study took a sample of three teachers and three students who were taken by purposive sampling technique. The results of the study show that the purpose of sex education in al-falah assholihaat Islamic boarding school is to provide an understanding of sex education and to dispel the skewed views of the general public regarding sex education which is considered taboo. The material taught is not far from discussing women's and men's issues related to feminism and masculinity, maintaining shame, introducing ikhtilam and menstruation, maintaining genital hygiene, introducing blood that comes out of the uterus, introducing visiting times and teaching to keep an eye on Introducing mahram, these materials were taken from various classic books such as Risalatul Mahid, Uqudullujjain, Qurratul Uyun, Fathul Izar, Akhlaqul Banin and Fathul Qarib. The method applied in providing sex education is by awareness, warning and restraint which in the application of the method is maximized and consistent. After being given the material and the application of sex education, an evaluation of the sex education itself is then carried out, the evaluation is carried out by means of tests and non-tests. The quality of the evaluation results of sex education materials needs to be improved. This can be achieved by reflecting on the process of the exam or test being carried out.
