Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of budget participation,individual capacity, and budget clarity on the budgetary slack of the villages in Kebumen District. The study is a quantitative study. The source of data used was primary data. The data analysis model used in this study was Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. The sampling technique applied was purposive sampling. The sample in this study were 60 respondents. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires directly to the respondents. The results of the analysis showed that (1) Knowledge has a positive and significant effect on the lack of interest in saving in Islamic banks, (2) Location not on the lack of interest in saving in Islamic banks, (3) products have a positive and significant effect on the lack of interest in saving in Islamic banks. The concluded of study showed that budgetary slack is influenced by variable budget participation and budget clarity. The conclusions of the study show that the lack of interest in saving in Islamic banks is influenced by knowledge and product variables.
