Abstract

Weak self-adjustment (self-maladjustment) of adolescents to the social environment is not a new issue for Indonesian society. The fact says that there were 12,425 cases of child abuse recorded at KPPPAI as of 2020, and the number has been increasing until now. Many factors cause weak self-adjustment (self-maladjustment) in adolescents, such as a lack of spiritual education in adolescents instilled from an early age. Departing from this phenomenon, this thesis raises the topic of the practical implementation of the hadiths of mujahadah an-nafs (contemplation, reflection, or introspection) and their influence on children's social-emotional development. The purpose of this research is to: this study aims to: (1) find out the planning in implementing the hadiths of mujahadah an-nafs in TK B Ar-Rasyid PAS AY Campus III Pontianak, (2) get information regarding the implementation of teaching hadiths of mujahadah an -nafs in TK B Ar-Rasyid PAS AY Campus III Pontianak, and (3) knowing the impact of the implementation of the hadiths of mujahadah an-nafs in TK B Ar-Rasyid PAS AY Campus III Pontianak. This research is descriptive qualitative with data mining techniques, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings of this thesis include that the curriculum used by TK B Ar-Rasyid PAS AY Campus III Pontianak is the curriculum for Islamic boarding schools. The methods used in learning hadith are imtaq, practice, tahfiz, talqin and muraja'ah. As for the hadiths of mujahadah an-nafs that are taught such as hadiths prohibiting anger, hadiths saying good things, hadiths prohibiting breaking friendships, hadiths of good morals, hadiths glorifying guests. Then, the conclusion from the interviews and observations is that the hadith education that has been designed by KB/TK PAS AY Campus III has quite a positive impact on children's social-emotional development. This can be seen from the comparison of children's behavior when they just entered school until the time this research was carried out as well as the results of the evaluation of children's development (report cards). Although basically no matter how good the education a child receives at school will be in vain if it is not supported by parents or the environment in which the child lives. As Al-Ghazali said, good morals will be firmly embedded in a soul that always does good habits.
