Abstract

In today's digital era, most of the activities and activities have been facilitated by advances in technology, one of which is buying and selling with an auction system. Online auctions are in greater demand than face-to-face meetings, considering that they do not require a lot of time and effort because they can be done anywhere. One example is the practice of auctions in ornamental fish buying and selling groups on the Facebook application in Purworejo district. But in practice, the auction system is not entirely smooth or successful, there are frauds that occur such as fictitious auctions, snipers, and bid and run. The type of research used is field research, the nature of qualitative analytical descriptive research using a normative approach. This research was sourced from primary data obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation, while secondary data was obtained by conducting library research in the form of Al-Qur'an, Hadith, laws and regulations, opinions of scholars, journals, documents, as well as books and other scientific works. In practice, online-based auctions on the Purworejo Facebook forum have been fulfilled according to the terms and conditions of the auction. However, there are problems regarding legal subjects involved in transactions that are underage or not yet mature. This causes the sale and purchase agreement to have a facade or damage. Some scholars provide legitimacy in the transaction with a record of considering the benefits and as much as possible to eliminate the harm. Furthermore, the authors provide solutions to the problems that occur. The group must be private. Furthermore, for sniper problems, please check the seller's account first, whether the account is guaranteed or not. Suggestions for bid and run problems are that if a participant bids and runs, the seller should immediately report it to the group admin to remove him from the group, so that the participant cannot harm other sellers.
