Abstract

This research is a qualitative descriptive field research with the research location in Mantigola Village, Kaledupa District, Wakatobi Regency. The subjects of this study consisted of traditional leaders, religious leaders, village heads and the coastal community of Bajo Wakatobi who were selected as research subjects. The data collection techniques of this research are observation, interviews and documentation. The validity of this research data is through source triangulation, technique triangulation and time triangulation. The data analysis technique is descriptive qualitative by using, data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. There are three research results, namely: (1) traditional leaders and religious leaders integrate the values of local wisdom and religious beliefs in the coastal community of Bajo Wakatobi because they are basically influenced by two factors, the first is Internal factors; the emergence of awareness, empathy, love and concern for the emergence of social inequality. Then the second is; External factors; maintain harmonious relations, peace, equalization of local wisdom values and religious beliefs, preservation of ancestral culture. (2) The values of local wisdom and religious beliefs in the Coastal community of Bajo Wakatobi there are two first, the values contained in local wisdom, namely; the value of Kadilao' Kadaro', Kaka', Kutta' Deaf', Maduai Duata, Sunno', Padakkauan Sama and sibaraang kaanu maalo'. While the second is the value contained in religious beliefs, namely; belief in ma'rifah vision, the attributes of Allah SWT, qadha and qadar, prophethood, prophetic attributes, Islam and the book of Al- Qur'anul Karim. (3) The role and strategy of integrating local wisdom values and religious beliefs in the coastal community of Bajo Wakatobi, the first is the role of the figures, namely: good communication, positive thinking and good response, doing good cooperation, providing understanding to the community, inviting community to peace and peace, giving appreciation to the community. Then the second integration strategy, namely: establishing good relations with the community, not being easily influenced by negative things, always respecting and understanding the community.
