Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work environment, work motivation, and educational background partially or simultaneously on the performance of employees at the Yogyakarta Regional Center for Human Resource Development (PPSDM). The type of research used in this research is quantitative. The population and sample in this study were all PNS employees at the Yogyakarta Regional Human Resource Development Center (PPSDM), totaling 95 employees. Methods of data collection through questionnaires or questionnaires. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling, namely the sampling technique based on certain considerations. The data analysis method used in this study is Multiple Linear Regression using SPSS 19.0. The results of this study indicate that partially the work environment, work motivation and educational background have a positive and significant influence on employee performance. Meanwhile, simultaneously or together the work environment, work motivation and educational background have a positive and significant influence on employee performance.
