Abstract

This research aims to analyze the mapping of central bank digital currency (CBDC) research for the period 2012 to 2022. The data used is secondary data, obtained from the Scopus database and accessed on January 20, 2023. This research is a quantitative descriptive research and data analysis using a five-step approach to bibliometric methods, namely defining search keywords, initial search results, narrowing results, compiling data statistics, and data analysis. The data is analyzed by using VOSviewer software. There are three visualizations in VOSviewer, namely network map visualization, overlay, and density. The scopus database is the only source used in this study so the analysis is not as extensive as if it used many databases
