Abstract

Teenagers are the most internet users in Indonesia. The high use of the internet has had positive and negative impacts. To reduce the negative potential of internet use by teenagers, technology-based learning of the Aqidah Akhlak is the solution. The purpose of this study is to describe internet-based learning at MTs 10 Sleman as an effort to develop students' interest in learning Akidah Akhlak subjects. This research is a qualitative field research. As for data collection with the method of observation, interviews and documentation. Interviews were conducted with the deputy head of the madrasah curriculum, supporting teachers, and students. Observations were made by directly observing the learning process and also madrasah IT equipment. The documentation is in the form of learning documents. The data validity test in this study is source triangulation. while the analysis technique uses Miles and Huberman namely data reduction, data presentation and verification The results showed that the application of IT-based learning had been carried out at MTs N10 Sleman which was achieved by having indicators: the use of technological media in the learning process, religious activities, intracurricular and extracurricular activities. This application is not only to support each learning process but also to train students' agility in technology. At each midterm assessment the teacher relies on technology to assess students. The application of IT-based learning has implications for easy access to the use of information technology by teachers for learning. This is evident in teachers who show learning videos as one of the media. In addition, students' interest in learning about Akidah and morals is increasingly enthusiastic.
