Abstract

While the development of Al-Qur’an interpretation focuses a lot on interpretation which prioritizes verse contextualization, Fadil Salih al-Samarra'i, he is an Arabic language expert with his Bayani interpretation appearing in this contemporary era. Manhaj Bayani is an interpretation method that explains the secrets contained in Ta'bir Qurani from a literary point of view such as escorting and ending, procuring and eliminating, mentioning and eliminating words/sentences, and choosing one diction over another. According to Amin Al-Khulli, the ideal method for researching the Qur'an as a literary study is two studies. The first is the study of what is in the Koran (dirasah maa fi Al-Qur’an) and the second is the study of what is around the Koran (dirasah ma haula al-Qur'an). After that, 'Aisyah Bint Syati' applied it in his work al-Tafsir al-Bayani li al-Qur'an al-Karim This is very interesting to study about his book, bearing in mind that Bayani interpretations are rarely used in the current era and more use of adab ijtima'i interpretation theories. “Ala Tariq al-Tafsir al-Bayani ” uses Abdul mustaqim's epistemological theory which focuses on the sources of interpretation, the method of interpretation used, the spirit of objectivity in this book, and the uniqueness of al-Samarra'i's interpretation of the previous Bayani interpretation. With research related to this matter, it can be said that: first, the book 'Ala Tariq al-Tafsir al-Bayani has a strong epistemology so that it can be used as a reference or developed, second, the book 'Ala Tari q al-Tafsir al-Bayani has a more systematic methodology than previous Bayani interpretations, making it easier for later mufassirs to apply or develop this Bayani al-Samarra'i Manhaj. Third, the book 'Ala Tariq al-Tafsir al-Bayani is adab but has high rational reasoning in accordance with today's critical reasoning so that it can be easily understood and accepted by contemporary society.
