Abstract

This research was conducted on the basis of the background which shows that SD Negeri Bhayangkara is a model school for other schools in implementing the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI). However, there are various inhibiting factors in its implementation that need to be analyzed and found a solution. In addition, in this study will analyze how the results of the implementation of the Internal Quality Assurance System on the quality of services in SD Negeri Bhayangkara Yogyakarta. This type of research used in this study is qualitative research. The data collection techniques in this study used interviews, documentation, and observation. The data analysis was carried out by means of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The sampling technique in this study used non-random sampling (not random). The results of this study indicate that: 1) The implementation of the internal quality assurance system at SD Negeri Bhayangkara is running well. Starting from planning (Plan), implementation (Do), evaluation (Check), and follow-up (Act). Everything is well done and directed. At the planning stage, a special quality assurance team was formed in order to assist in carrying out School Self-Evaluation (EDS) tasks and planning for the school's annual activities. 2) The results of the implementation of the internal quality assurance system have a good impact on improving the quality of services at SD Negeri Bhayangkara Yogyakarta. This is evidenced by the implementation of 8 national education standards and various achievements achieved by students and educators. 3) Supporting factors for the internal quality assurance system of SD Negeri Bhayangkara, namely a solid work team, qualified human resources, the role of the principal and the active role of parents. Then the inhibiting factors of the internal quality assurance system are many administrative regulations, difficult curriculum and distance learning situations.
