Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that memmepngaruhi librarian's performance at the Regional Agency for Libraries and Archives DIY province. In this type of research study is a qualitative, variable in this study there is only one variable (single variable), because in this study there is only one point of concern is the factors that affect the performance of libraries and librarians in the National Provincial Archives of DIY. Data Collection Technique with Interview / interviews, observation and domukentasi. While the analysis of data using data reduction, data presentation, interesting conclusion / verification. Based on the description of the results of research of the highest factor in influencing the performance of librarians at the National Library and Regional Archive of Yogyakarta Special Province is personal or individual factors that includes educational background that makes librarians can be called with an expert librarian, librarian skills and abilities are an asset in performing daily duties and the latter is the confidence in performing the task to get the maximum results. The lowest factor in influencing the performance of librarians at the National Library and Regional Archive Special Province of Yogyakarta is a system of factors such as librarians do not fit with the job title but perform the task at hand, Job description also not there but librarians carry out tasks according to guidelines (Technical Guidance) , Although the facilities or infrastructure already meet but there are still needed by librarians, Changes in the organization is often the turn of the leadership in the National Library and Regional Archive lack of concentration makes librarians do their work
