Abstract

The population of Islamic boarding schools in East Java, especially in Madura, is something that deserves attention, because with all the potential, starting from human resources, institutions, and public trust, it should be able to touch various lines, especially in terms of the economy. This study aims to analyze the strategy for developing pesantren institutions with one pesantren one product (OPOP) as one of the programs designed by the East Java provincial government. This research uses qualitative and quantitative methods (mixed method). The approach taken is ethnographic. Data collection was carried out by observation and in-depth interviews with 7 expert respondents. The data analysis used in this study is the Analytic Network Process (ANP) with the help of Super Decision Version 2.8 software. The results of this study indicate that ethnographically PP. Al-Amien Prenduan has an advantage in the number of human resources it has with a total number of students of 8,841 students with thousands of alumni. Whereas for the OPOP pillar the priority is Islamic Boarding School with a value of 0.60000 with the respondent's agreement of (W: 0.75510), if the percentage is 75%. For the priority role in the independence of the pesantren is the Islamic Boarding School Economic Manager with a value of 0.54948 with the respondent's agreement of (W: 1.00000), if the percentage is 1%. Thus the strategies that can be used are: empowering human resources according to classification, developing potential and business units, expanding relationships and expanding cooperation, improving production facilities and means and optimizing digital marketing. So it can be concluded that the independence of the pesantren will be optimal when the pillars of the pesantrenpreneur and the management of the pesantren economy as their main role are able to optimize the existing potential and implement the strategies that have been built and develop them on a regular basis.
