Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the correlation between hygiene factors with performance of employees in The Company of Surakarta. Subject were employees of The Company X Surakarta, with the number of subject 35 person. The subject taken by cluster random sampling. The hygiene factors is measured with hygiene factors’ scale, while the performance of employees is measured with employee’s performance scale. The analysis that used to find the correlation between hygiene factors and performance of employees is the Pearson Product Moment analysis. The results of statistical calculation shows rxy for 0.530 with p = 0,001 (p<0.01) with these figures prove that there are positive and significant relation between hygiene factors and performance of employees. The result of data analysis proves that the hypothesis raised by the researchers accepted. This research shows that hygiene factors give 28% contribution to performance of employees.
