Abstract

This study aims to analyze the comparison of profitability and liquidity in health sector companies listed on the Indonesian Sharia Stock Index (ISSI) before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. The variables used are return on assets, return on equity, current ratio, and cash ratio. The research sample consisted of 11 companies that were consistently listed on the Indonesian Sharia Stock Index (ISSI) for the 2017-2021 period which were collected using a purposive sampling method. The hypothesis analysis technique uses the Wilcoxon signed rank test with the SPSS application tool. The results showed that there were significant differences in the return on assets and current ratio variables, while there were no significant differences in the return on equity and cash ratio variables.
