Abstract

Drug survivor addiction counselors have an important role in helping clients, drug survivor addiction counselors must have a strong determination to help fellow addicts, this is the main capital for them to become addiction counselors who have the resilience dynamics of addiction counselors found in rehabilitation institutions. This research method uses qualitative methods, with a case study approach. This study also used interview and documentation data collection methods. The informant selection technique in this study used a purposive sampling method. The results of this study showed that the first informant had these aspects and resilience factors that allowed the informant to stay clean from drugs. The informant also lives in an environment that supports the rehabilitation program that the informant has received, the second informant can implement rehabilitation programs properly so that the informant has resilience aspects and factors. The informant's environment was also very supportive of the changes that the informant had made and encouraged when the informant felt down. the informants seem to have good aspects of resilience, but the resilience factor in this RA informant is lacking. The informant lives far from his family so the informant's environment does not support the programs that the informant has undertaken. When the informant was down, the informant returned to relapse. Addiction counselors have aspects of resilience, namely emotion regulation, impulse control, optimism, problem analysis skills, empathy, self-efficacy, and reaching out. As well as resilience factors, namely psychological resources, social support, and cognitive skills. Addiction counselors who experience relapse do not understand the aspects and resilience factors that addiction counselors have, so their work cannot be reckoned with. Therefore, addiction counselors who experience relapse must quit their job as addiction counselors.
