Abstract

Online games are games that are played online via the internet. Playing games excessively will cause a person to become addicted (addicted). Someone can be said to be addicted to online games if they can play video games for more than 3 hours a day. In today's modern era, online games are accessible to anyone and anywhere. Similar to the people in Krasakan Village, many young people in Krasakan Village are starting to play online games. Life in the village tends to be based on close social relations between village communities. The existence of online games among rural youth will certainly affect their level of sensitivity towards community activities. This community activity can be in the form of mutual cooperation, following patrol activities, and so on. The purpose of this study was to analyze the impact of online game on adolescents on the social sensitivity of the community in Krasakan Village. The research conducted is a type of qualitative descriptive research. Data collection techniques used are interview techniques, observation, and documentation. Using the technique of determining purposive sampling informants in determining the criteria of informants. As well as the data analysis technique used is discourse/qualitative content (Discourse Analysis). The results obtained by the researchers are that the existence of online games in Krasakan Village does not only have a bad impact, but also has a lot of good impact. The teenagers in Krasakan Village are able to make a lot of contributions to the Krasakan Village community. Of the many contributions of youth, can provide a variety of responses. The various responses emerged from several informants who met the criteria determined by the researcher.
