Abstract

Ustadz Yusuf Mansur is one of the preachers who has good rhetoric and has always been active in preaching about alms. Ustadz Yusuf Mansur is a preacher who has gone viral on social media, because of his preaching videos which always emphasize the miracle of charity. The presence of Ustadz Yusuf Mansur with his concept of alms has made the simple meaning of alms into something amazing. He has led to our opinion that alms helps our lives towards a successful life. As for this study, researchers will examine the rhetoric of Ustadz Yusuf Mansur's preaching in mobilizing the spirit of alms on the YouTube Daqu Channel. This research wants to see how Ustadz Yusuf Mansur's Da'wah Rhetoric in Motivating the Spirit of Alms? The method used in this study uses a descriptive analysis method based on the theory of da'wah rhetoric. This method is used because it is in accordance with the reference of qualitative research. The descriptive analysis research method is a way of solving by describing an object. The object depicted is limited to an attempt to reveal a problem, situation, or event as it really is, so that it expresses facts. The techniques used to obtain data on Yusuf Mansur's da'wah transcription were listening, note taking, and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique used to analyze or manage data collected or obtained from research is by identifying, classifying, presenting data and analyzing da'wah rhetoric. The results of this study indicate that of the three videos analyzed about alms lectures in the form of language use in the style of language that has been found, there is a style of language that is often used by Ustadz Yusuf Mansur, namely conversational language style. For the use of a typical language style in delivering a lecture about alms is an affirmation style, the dominant style of affirmation is in the form of climax, anti-climax, paralism, and antithetical. Meanwhile, in the form of language use in the styles that have been found, there are four types of styles used by Yusuf Mansur in his video lectures, namely religious styles and conversative styles. In the arrangement of speech composition messages that have been found there are three types of speech composition which as a whole have been used by Ustadz Yusuf Mansur in video lectures namely unity, linkage, and emphasis. While the message organization in the message organization that has been found there are five types of message organization used by Ustadz Yusuf Mansur in his short lecture, namely deductive, inductive, chronological, logical, and spatial message organization types. The forms of motivational appeals and reward appeals were the most widely used by ustadz Yusuf Mansur.
