Abstract

During new normal era of pandemic Covid-19, women especially working mothers are faced with various pressures both at work and within the family. If failure to cope with those various pressures can lead to role conflict and disruption of psychological functions and decreased in the level of psychological well-being for individuals who experienced it. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between work-family conflict and psychological well-being of working mothers during new normal era pandemic Covid-19. This research used quantitative correlational method. The participants of this research were 150 working mothers in Institution X using purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using psychological well-being scale and work-family conflict scale. The result of data analysis using SPSS 20.0 correlation Pearson Product Moment showed a significance level of p = 0,000 (p < 0,05) and rxy = -335. This indicated that there was a negative relationship between variables or the hypothesis was accepted. This can be concluded that the lower of the work-family conflict, the higher the psychological well-being of working mothers during new normal era pancemic Covid-19, and vice versa.
