Abstract

Religious character education for students is crucial for the formation of their character in the future. Today, with problems, there are many cases of child delinquency, as well as children who cannot pray and recite the Koran. This is in line with the perceived lack of religious education in state schools and the lack of academic education in Islamic boarding schools, hence the emergence of JSIT (Integrated Islamic School Network) which is present by balancing academic education and religious education in accordance with a curriculum that has been adapted to the characteristics of JSIT. This study uses a type of qualitative research. The method used is field research with a qualitative approach. To obtain the research data, the researcher conducted interviews with key informants, namely the principal, first grade homeroom teacher, third grade homeroom teacher, sixth grade homeroom teacher, student guardians, students and school alumni as well as data reinforcement obtained through documentation and field observations. The data obtained is in the form of descriptive analysis to explain how to implement full day school-based curriculum management in the formation of the religious character of students at SDIT Insan Mulia Wonosobo. The results of the study show that: (1) Implementation of full day school curriculum management in the formation of the religious character of students at SDIT Insan Mulia Wonosobo is by: a) BTAQ program; b) Tahfidzul Qur'an and hadith; c) Duha prayer in congregation; d) BPI (Islamic Private Development); e) Extracurriculars (murotal and tambourine); f) Commemoration of Islamic religious holidays; g) Ramadan at school. (2) The formation of the religious character of students at SDIT Insan Mulia Wonosobo in accordance with 3 indicators in character education Thomas Lickona (1991) can be seen from students who know and understand about goodness and the importance of worship (moral knowing), then have an intention in students to do good (moral feeling) in order to get rewarded and go to heaven, as well as carry out good values (moral behavior) in daily life, by performing obligatory and sunnah prayers, and reciting the Koran.
