Abstract

This research is motivated by the formation of morals for orphans and dhuafa who have various kinds of different family backgrounds. At the Orphanage of Rumah Singgah Bumi Damai , it pays special attention to morals and the formation of morals in Protege by providing care based on religion and general knowledge in a balanced manner. This study aims to describe the implementation of moral education from the perspective of Imam Al-Ghazali at the Orphanage of the Rumah Singgah Bumi Damai and to analyze the factors that influence the implementation of moral education from the perspective of Imam Al-Ghazali at the Orphanage of the Rumah Singgah Bumi Damai. The research method used in this study uses a descriptive qualitative model approach as an analysis of field findings, and data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The data validity test includes source triangulation and technical triangulation. The results showed that, First, the application of the concept of moral education for vulnerable groups in the Bumi Damai shelter Foundation Orphanage is by directing foster children to good things and attitudes that must be applied in everyday life. second, The implementation of the application of moral education for vulnerable groups at the Rumah Singgah Bumi Damai Foundation is with daily activities and non-formal activities that are applied every day. In daily activities children are accustomed to good things and in non-formal activities children are directed to have good character and morals every day. Third, the result of implementing moral education for vulnerable groups in orphanages at the Bumi Damai shelter foundation is very helpful in increasing the level of religiosity of foster children and also forming good social attitudes for foster children.
