Abstract

Language as a means of communication must be introduced since early childhood correctly and well, which is quite effective through storytelling activities. Language in early childhood fairy tales is presented by paying attention to the specifications of early childhood perspective language. Language in early childhood fairy tales is mixed according to the level of readability of early childhood, such as: written in simple words and sentences, printed in large size, on one page there are more pictures than text, terms are easy to understand, sentences are relatively short, and do not contain aspects of pornography and violence. This research is presented using a type of field research, which is descriptive qualitative in nature. The object of the research is a fairy tale book of serialized AUD main characters whose readability can be used as a basis for the introduction of children's language in RA Rumah Kreatif Wadas Kelir. The research subjects were the head of the madrasa, class teachers, accompanying teachers, and children of RA Rumah Kreatif Wadas Kelir Purwokerto Selatan group B totaling 16 children. Data collection methods through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques through 3 stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity checking techniques triangulation with sources and triangulation with the same method. The purpose of this study is to identify the language outlined in the main character fairy tale book series, analyze the language of early childhood perspectives, and find language specifications that are in accordance with the level of readability of early childhood. The results showed that the language outlined in the main character fairy tale book of serialized AUD was presented according to a high level of readability for early childhood, language skills in early childhood in the aspects of understanding language, expressing language, and literacy showed that children developed very well with an overall percentage of 81%-98%, finally the positive impact obtained was the increase in children's vocabulary, increased children's absorption of general and specific vocabulary, and children were able to sort out the values in the story that were positive and negative. The AUD Main Character Fairy Tale Book has met the criteria for presenting fairy tales in accordance with child development, where the content of the story in the fairy tale is full of entertainment, education, presented with good language, and attractive illustrations.
