Abstract

SMP Negeri 3 Bantul is one of the schools that has such a complex diversity. Every member of the school has a different background, especially regarding religion which is believed by every student and student. However, in daily social relations, they respect, care, work together, and tolerate each other because of the habituation of the characters carried out through the PPK program. Thus, this study aims to examine the inculcation of multicultural educational values through the implementation of the PPK program as an effort to realize inter-religious tolerance at SMP Negeri 3 Bantul This research is a type of qualitative research with a field research design. In collecting data, the technique used is to use interviews, observation, and documentation. The data obtained is then analyzed by means of reduction, data presentation, and verification to draw conclusions. Then in testing the validity of the data, the researcher used a triangulation technique. This research produces a finding about. First, the implementation of the PPK program in instilling the values of multicultural education at SMP Negeri 3 Bantul is carried out by involving all stakeholders, all of whom are responsible for the successful implementation. Prior to the implementation of the PPK program, it was made in advance regarding the PPK program policy based on the paradigm of the PPK program itself, determining the program to be implemented, empowering human resources for educators and education staff, then implementing the program was carried out by taking several stages, namely planning, implementation, and evaluation. Second, the implications of the results of the implementation of the PPK program for inter-religious tolerance in SMP Negeri 3 Bantul are the existence of democratic values, humanist values, justice values, and tolerance values.
