Abstract

The background of this research is the problem of the Tahfiẓ learning activities carried out in class IV MI Da'watul Khoir, where the implementation only memorizes verses without any explanation of meaning or value. In the observation activities, the teaching materials used were only Al-Qur’ān manuscripts or Yāsin books which did not raise the meaning and value of each sura, the material used was only verses, if the meaning in the Al-Qur’ān was read it was difficult to understand. understood by students, because students do not understand the meaning in the meaning of each verse even though students memorize the verses but do not understand the food. This research develops a living Qur'an program with the aim of: (1) Knowing the procedures for developing a living Qur'an program , (2) Knowing the feasibility of developing a living Qur'an program, (3) Knowing the effect of a living Qur'an program in increasing character in learning Tahfiẓ class IV MI Da'watul Khoir Nganjuk. the Research and Development (RnD) development research method , this study aimed to produce a program in the form of the living Qur'an surah Yāsin verses 1-10 along with a guide book . The location of this study was at MI Da'watul Khoir, using a population of all students in class IV A, totaling 23 students, 14 boys and 9 girls. The research design uses the Borg and Gall model which consists of 10 stages, but in this study there are 3 stages which do not detract from the original 10 stages, namely stage 1 : preliminary study: (2) planning , (3) developing preliminary form of product The grouping into three stages is only to facilitate the research process, in no way reduces the true meaning of each step . The research data collection instrument was expert validation data, questionnaires, non-tests, and analysis techniques in this research. The main test was the normality test, homogeneous test and paired sample t-test. This research shows that (1) produce living Qur'an program surah Yāsin verses 1-10 in improving students' character in Tahfiẓ learning. (2) The living Qur'an program developed is considered feasible to be implemented as one of the Tahfiẓ Yāsin learning strategies. Based on the assessment of material experts, learning design experts and media. Based on the learning design and media experts, they get a score of 94%. Based on the material expert's assessment of 93% and the teacher's response was 96%. (3) The Living Qur'an program has been tested to improve character in Tahfiẓ class IV learning obtained from a comparison of pretest and posttest scores in learning using the Living Qur'an program, namely the pretest result of 81.39 and posttest results of 85.73 are in the valid category, and there is influence in improving the character of students.
