Abstract

Several shocking cases have occurred in the people of Southeast Sulawesi, and from these cases one of the largest ethnic community organizations residing in the peninsula of Southeast Sulawesi has been involved in solving them. The community organization is the Tolaki tribal community organization, namely Tamalaki Ta'awuno Tolaki Southeast Sulawesi. Tamalaki is the name for Tolaki knights, which among the general public, especially in the Southeast Sulawesi Peninsula, sounds frightening. But in essence, Tamalaki is a term for the Tolaki knights who are tasked with protecting the sovereignty of their territory, be it from interference by physical contact with a person or group or other matters. Formed as a bastion of adat, ancestral land and the pride of the Tolaki tribe, in its movement Tamalaki is based on the philosophy of Kalosara, Inae Kona Sara Lee Pinesara, Inae Lia Sara Lee Peinekasara, which means whoever respects adat will also be respected, whoever does not respect adat then he will be punished. This research is a qualitative research with 6 informants and the approach used is a case study approach. The research subjects consisted of 4 members of the Tolaki tamalaki ta'awuno community organization in Southeast Sulawesi, 1 Tolaki customary council member of Southeast Sulawesi and 1 Tolea person. The data collection process was carried out by observing, interviewing, documenting, and data triangulation. Data analysis was carried out by means of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and followed by drawing conclusions and verification. Looking back at the various cases that occurred in Southeast Sulawesi, in the process of solving them the Tamalaki community organization took part in them. There are unique things that according to researchers are quite interesting to study. Based on the facts on the ground, if you look at it, Tamalaki community organizations tend to look quite anarchic. This is because on several occasions they were seen carrying sharp weapons during conflicts. This is also what was reported on a Kendari online media news page. However, if we look back at the process and results of the settlement of a case, it is found that there were no anarchic acts committed by members of the Tamalaki community organization. Of course, this phenomenon is in contrast to the appearance of members of these community organizations as seen among the public in general. Because of this, the self-control of members of the Tamalaki community organization is a unique thing to study, considering that the organization is an organization of the Tolaki tribe which is guided by Kalosara. The internalization of the Kalosara value also influences the self-control of members of the Tamalaki Ta'awuno Tolaki community organization, Southeast Sulawesi.
