Abstract

Site class and site effect analysis based on microtremor data and regional geology in the Opak Fault area research has been carried out using 33 primary data and 42 secondary data sourced from BMKG. The purpose of this research was to analyze the characteristics of the site class and site effect on each Opak Fault geological formation. The methods used in this research include the Horizontal to Vertical Spectral Ratio (HVSR) and the ellipticity curve. The results showed that the characteristics of the site class and site effect in the Opak Fault area varied. The Merapi Muda Formation has a Vs30 value between 139,95 m/s to 612,15 m/s dominated by SD site characteristics with low to medium f0, medium to high A0 and low to very high Kg. The Nglanggran Formation has Vs30 values ranging from 588,42 m/s to 769,32 m/s dominated by SC site characteristics with high to very high f0, medium A0 and low Kg. The Semilir Formation with a Vs30 range between 309,71 m/s to 962,37 m/s is dominated by SB site characteristics with high to very high f0, low to medium A0 and low Kg. The Wonosari Formation which consists of Vs30 values between 280,16 m/s to 590,18 m/s is dominated by SC site characteristics with low to very high f0, low A0 and low Kg. The Sambipitu Formation has Vs30 values ranging from 405,14 m/s to 467,18 m/s dominated by SC site characteristics with moderate to high f0, low to medium A0 and low Kg. The Aluvium Formation with Vs30 values between 413,60 m/s to 425,42 m/s is dominated by SC site characteristics with low to high f0 and A0, and low to medium Kg.
