Abstract

The concept of crowdsourcing has existed for centuries, a recent study shows that there were more than 40 different definitions of crowdsourcing. Crowdsourcing exists in literature and there is a need to learn about the various applications, challenges, and benefits of crowdsourcing. The main goal of crowdsourcing is cost savings, so the general concept of crowdsourcing is unlimited involvement of users which utilizes everyone to contribute to a system. The purpose of this research is to analyze the implementation model of crowdsourcing theory on LMS (learning management system) in Microsoft Teams and Google Classroom applications, knowing the model of implementing crowdsourcing theory that is used in two applications, then explain the impact of crowdsourcing theory in Microsoft Teams and Google Classroom applications. The result of this study is to find out how the features that work in the Microsoft Teams and Google Classroom applications can accommodate many users to contribute their ideas to these features so it can support users to solve their tasks or problems. The implementation of crowdsourcing in the Conversation and Tasks features of the Microsoft Terms application has almost the same character as the Forum and Class Task features of the Google Classroom application. The Difference is in the Microsoft Term application, users must have a special account to be able to use the features that have been provided by Microsoft, while in the Google Classroom application, all users can use or access the features only with a google account.
