Abstract

The importance of maintaining tolerance within the framework of diversity is always maintained as an effort to avoid conflict. The Wonolelo people are no exception, as a diverse society both in terms of culture, tradition or belief is an identity that is firmly held by the Wonolelo people in maintaining harmony and harmony in everyday life. However, this aqeedah was a little disturbed as missionaries from non-Islamic circles eroded the aqeedah of Muslims through a number of food or medical aid. In this case the Pesantren Masyarakat Merapi Merbabu (PM3) takes an important part in building a stronghold of morality and strengthening the creed from the doctrinal attacks of non-Muslim missionary groups. To dissect these events management communication theory is used. The theory combines two aspects, namely management aspects and communication aspects and juxtaposes management approaches and communication management. This research method uses descriptive qualitative research. This type of research uses field research. While data collection techniques include observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study are the Pesantren Masyarakat Merapi Merbabu (PM3) using management stages in conveying da'wah to the people in Wonolelo village. The stages of communication management are carried out. First, planning which includes the provision of preachers, introduction to community conditions, determination of preachers and da'wah materials and making agreements with the community. Second, organizing, namely division of division and division of tasks. Third, implementation as the core stage of management and fourth is direct or indirect monitoring and evaluation. In addition, there are three aspects of the urgency of establishing communication management in fostering the Wonolelo community: religion, education, and economy.
