Abstract

Agriculture is an important sector in the Indonesian economy, contributing around 13% of the country's Gross Domestic Product (GDP). One of its great potentials is apple production, due to the abundant natural resources Indonesia possesses, such as vast and fertile land, tropical climate, and diverse plant varieties. Some areas in Indonesia with great potential include the cities of Batu, Lembang, and M alino. This is supported by the geographic location situated at high altitude, producing sweet and fresh apples, as well as an increasing variety of apple types. In this study, primary data obtained from interviews with apple farmers in Batu was used. The quantitative method used was multiple linear regression analysis, assisted by Eviews 10 software. The results showed that simultaneously, the variables of fertilizer cost, pesticide cost, and land area significantly influenced the income of apple farmers i n Tulungrejo Village, Batu City. Partially, the variables of pesticide cost and land area significantly affected the income of apple farmers in Tulungrejo Village, Batu City, while the fertilizer cost variable had no effect on the income of apple farmers.
