Abstract

Economic growth can be a measure of the success of a region’s development. Economic growth will cause the goods and services produced to increase and the welfare of the community to increase. In addition, investment is a supporting factor affecting economic growth that will increase capital and create jobs so as to increase economic growth in a country or region. This study aims to determine the effect of Domestic Investment, Foreign Investment and labor on economic growth in Central Java Province. The data used in this study is secondary data which is time series data with a period of 40 years from 1983-2022. This study uses the Error Correction Model (ECM) method assisted by the Eviews 12 program. The results of this study state that Domestic Investment has a positive and significant effect on economic growth in Central Java Province. Foreign Investment has no effect economic growth in Central Java Province. Labor does not affect economic growth in Central Java Province. Simultaneously, Domestic Investment, Foreign Investment and labor have a positive and significant effect on economic growth in Central Java Province in 1983-2022.
