Abstract

Salafiyah Al Qodir Islamic Boarding School is a boarding school that accepts students who are drug addicts and has a vision of humanizing humans. This has a good impact on drug addicts, who need self-awareness, encouragement from the environment, and rehabilitation facilities that accept them well. The purpose of this research is to find out how the implementation of prophetic communication affects the rehabilitation of drug addicts at Salafiyah Al Qodir Islamic Boarding School. The theory used in this study is the theory of gaining compliance put forward by Marwell and David Schmitt. The method used in this research is qualitative with a case study approach. The results of this study indicate that non-medical measures are generally used in the rehabilitation process at the Salafiyah Al Qodir Islamic Boarding School. Pondok also implements prophetic communication, namely the value of humanization, inviting goodness, and having discussions. Value transcendence through unconditional acceptance of environmental points and character formation, as well as the value of transcendence with dhikr (mujahadah). During the rehabilitation process, the therapist used several prophetic communication ethics from the Qur'an, namely Qulan Karīman, Layyinan, Ma'rūfan, sadīdan, balīghan and Maysūran. Strategies used by therapists to gain student compliance include giving gifts or promises, offering things they like, impersonal commitments (e.g., moral appeals and kindness), and punishment.
