Abstract

The role of leaders, work culture, and performance in an organization is always an interesting discussion. Leaders in a government agency are one of the most difficult tasks. In addition to ensuring that the performance of agencies continues to run well, leaders in government agencies also have a burden of public trust in the tasks given. Discussions related to leadership, work culture, and performance have been carried out by many previous researchers. However, in this study, researchers tried to examine using 6 prerequisite tests for data analysis and looking at the influence of 3 variables at the Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Bantul Regency. This study was conducted with the intention to determine whether there is an influence of leadership dan work culture on performance at the Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Bantul Regency. This type of research is quantitative research that has formal, structural, specific research design characteristics. Data collection techniques using questionnaires given to respondents that have been determined based on probability sampling techniques with a total of 88 respondents under the roof of the Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Bantul Regency. After being obtained, validity and reliability tests were carried out on the data. For data analysis techniques, researchers go through three stages. These stages are prerequisite analysis tests including normality tests, linearity tests, homogeneity tests, heteroscedasticity tests, autocorrelation tests, and multicollinearity tests. The next stage is a multiple linear regression analysis test so that it can be continued with simultaneous and partial hypothesis testing. The results showed: (1) Leadership is partially related and has a positive effect on employee performance with acalculated t value for leadership variables of 2.227 > 1.988 (ttable) and a significance value of 0.029 < 0.05. (2) Work culture partially has a relationship and positively affects employee performance with acalculated t value for work culture variables of 6.012 > 1.988 (ttable) and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. (3) Leadership and work culture simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance with a calculated F value =33.293 > Ftable = 3.10. With these results, it is hoped that this research will contribute to leaders dan employees to pay more attention to leadership dan work culture in order to improve performance
