Abstract

This research is motivated by the author's anxiety about Indonesian language learning media in class IV of elementary school. In the midst of advances in digital technology, the teaching media used are less effective in increasing students' learning motivation and digital literacy because they only use books that have been provided by the school. This reduces students' learning motivation and digital literacy because the media used makes students easily bored so that learning is less effective. This development research aims to (1) find out the procedure for developing website-based interactive Indonesian multimedia to increase learning motivation and digital literacy of grade IV elementary school students. (2) Knowing the feasibility of website-based Indonesian interactive multimedia to increase learning motivation and digital literacy of grade IV elementary school students. (3) Knowing the effectiveness of website-based Indonesian interactive multimedia to increase learning motivation and digital literacy of fourth grade elementary school students. This research uses research and development methods (Research and Development). The research design uses the ADDIE model which consists of five stages, namely the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The data collection instruments for this research were the results of the assessment of media experts, material experts, teacher assessment language experts, and students' pretest and posttest questionnaires. The location of this research is SD Negeri Trayu Kapanewon Galur, Kulon Progo Regency Yogyakarta Special Region. This research was conducted in class IV with 15 students. The results of this study indicate that the development of this interactive multimedia produces a website-based product. The wordwall-based interactive multimedia feasibility test stage was carried out by media experts, material experts, linguists, and teacher response tests. Based on the validation of media experts, the results obtained were 76.9 in the "Decent" category. The results of the material expert validation test obtained a result of 86.6 in the "Very Eligible" category. The results of the language expert test obtained 80 results with the "Easy" category. And the results of the teacher's response test obtained a result of 93.8 in the "Very Eligible" category. The effectiveness of wordwall-based interactive multimedia can be seen based on the pre-test and post-test of grade IV SD Negeri Trayu Galur Kulon Progo. The test results for the effectiveness of using interactive multimedia on learning motivation got a p value <0.001, which means that there is an average change between the pre-test and post-test scores. So it can be concluded that wordwall-based interactive multimedia has a significant effect on learning motivation. The test results for the effectiveness of using interactive multimedia on digital literacy got a p value <0.001, which means that there is an average change between the pre-test and post-test scores. So it can be concluded that wordwall-based interactive multimedia has a significant effect on digital literacy
