Abstract

PT. Alis Jaya Ciptatama is a company engaged in furniture manufacturing. There is a problem with the machine band saw which resulted in a halt in production flow and unable to reach the company's target. The purpose of this research is to focus on the right maintenance policy and determine the right maintenance schedule for engine componentsband saw by using the methodRealibility Centered Maintenance II (RCM II)Work Sheet andAge Replacement so that it can reduce the valuedowntime machine so that the production flow will continue. Basically the company has implemented corrective maintenance but the results are still experiencing engine damage. Therefore, proper care is needed in determining improvements so that they do not produce valuedowntime tall. Calculation of the value of the effectiveness of the machineband saw using method Overall Equipment Efectiviness (OEE) with a yield of 80%. Then the components that get high RPN values are determined, namely contactors, scab wheels, gress bearings, saw blades and band saws with maintenance actions in the form ofscheduled discard task with various interval values, namely contactors of 510 hours, scab wheels of 427 hours, bearing gress of 319 hours, ketok spindles of 464 hours, band saws of 252 hours. With maintenance cost savings of 32%, 39%, 25%, 38%, 23% for each critical component on the machineband saw.
