Abstract

One of the crucial elements in a village's ability to implement initiatives for the welfare of the local populace is the allocation of community money. Compared to the district government, which in reality has a greater scope, it is thought that the village government is better able to identify the top priorities of its residents. The management of village funds is crucial for community development and progress. The central government administers village money independently of local governments. How are village fund allocations planned, implemented, managed, and held accountable in Bangkudu Village, Portibi District, North Padang Lawas Regency? What factors affect village fund allocation management in Bangkudu Village, Portibi District? This kind of study combines an empirical legal perspective with field research. Descriptive analytics is the data analysis technique used to describe the data research findings. The study used observation, interviews, and documentation as data gathering methods. There are both primary and secondary data sources used. The theory of good governance and local government theory are the theories utilized to analyze the issue. According to the study's findings, the implementation phase starts with the village government receiving funds in two stages, after which they enter the village treasury account and are used for all receipts and expenditures; The village government manages village funds in accordance with Permendes PDTT Number 13 of 2020, which addresses the priority use of village funds. At the accountability reporting stage, the village government submits an accountability report to the Village Consultative Body detailing the use of village funds that was actually realized. Then, no later than three months following the conclusion of the project, the Village Head submits a Village Government Implementation Report (LPPD) to the North Padang Lawas Regent.
