Abstract

This research is entitled "Representation of Islamic Values in the Web Series "Satu Amin Dua Iman"". This research identifies how a web series can convey messages that can be applied in everyday life, by promoting Islamic values, and have the ability to motivate individuals who have different religious backgrounds to make positive changes in their lives. This web series can act as an educational tool and influence the mindset and actions of Muslims who watch it The method in this study uses a qualitative research approach and uses Roland Barthes' Semiotics theory. Roland Barthes' Semiotic Theory contains important elements, among them, Signifier, Signified, Denotation, Connotation, Myth. Using qualitative methods and Roland Barthes' semiotic theory, this research will explore and analyze various signs or elements in the web series "Satu Amin Dua Iman" that carry Islamic meanings and values. Humans, through their wits, try to interact by using signs as tools for various purposes, one of which is to communicate with others as a form of adaptation to the surrounding environment. After analysis, the conclusion that can be drawn is that there are several Islamic values, including the value of aqidah, sharia, and morals reflected in the web series "Satu Amin Dua Iman", in terms of denotative, connotative and mythical meanings in each scene. Web series can be a means to bring positive changes in religious life
