Abstract

Communication plays an important role in creating harmonious religious relations in a heterogeneous environment of religion. Blingoh Village, Donorojo District, Jepara Regency which became the research location, there are three religious groups that are adhered to by its residents, namely Islam, Christianity and Buddhism. Even so, the people of Blingoh Village can live in harmony side by side without ever having conflicts on the basis of religion. The main focus of this research is related to the communication patterns used by the religious community in Blingoh Village and the factors that influence the creation of harmonious religious relations in Blingoh Village. So the purpose of this study was to find out the communication patterns used by the religious community in Blingoh Village and the factors that influence the creation of harmonious religious relations in Blingoh Village. This research is a type of field research with a descriptive qualitative approach. The research method used is descriptive method with data collection methods used are observation, interviews and documentation. In analyzing the data, researchers used three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that religious people in Blingoh Village, Donorojo District, Jepara Regency can establish good communication between fellow believers. In the communication process, the Blingoh Village community uses two communication patterns in dealing with other communities, namely using interpersonal communication and inter-group communication. Interpersonal communication carried out by the Blingoh Village community can be seen in social life and daily interactions as well as in activities that are religious in natureeventual. Group communication implemented by the Blingoh Village community is divided into two types, namely small groups and large groups. While the factors that influence the creation of harmonious religious relations in Blingoh Village are divided into two types, namely internal factors (tolerance, dialogue and cooperation between religious communities) and external factors (role of religious leaders and government).
