Abstract

Poverty is a complex problem faced by almost all countries, including Indonesia. Although the government has implemented various ways and policies to overcome this problem, in reality, the poverty rate in Indonesia is still quite high. In an effort to improve the welfare of the community and overcome the problem of poverty, MPM PP Muhammadiyah is an institution that plays an active role through its empowerment programs. MPM PP Muhammadiyah has been running for approximately 18 years, since 2005 until now. This shows the ability of MPM PP Muhammadiyah to survive and actively implement various empowerment programs. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to describe the program and analyze the program management of MPM PP Muhammadiyah in an effort to improve community welfare. The research method applied is a qualitative approach, where data is collected through observation, documentation, and interviews. The data collection process involved several stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. During the research process, triangulation techniques were used to validate the data, namely by comparing results from different sources to ensure the accuracy of the data obtained. The results of the study, the researcher found first, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in the implementation of empowerment programs carried out by MPM PP Muhammadiyah through four stages, namely discovery, dream, design, define, and destine. Second, related to program management carried out by MPM PP Muhummadiyah has four stages including planning, execution, monitoring & controlling, and finalizing.
