Abstract

Income is a result that a person gets for the business or work he has. Capital is all forms of wealth in the form of money or goods obtained by themselves or by other people, such as loans. The length of business is the length of a business undertaken by traders. Working hours are the time used by traders in work activities. Types of merchandise are types of goods sold in merchandise such as food and non-food items. This study aims to determine the effect of capital, length of business, working hours and type of merchandise on the income of street vendors in Marakash tourism, Bekasi Regency. This type of research used is quantitative research. The type of data used is primary data. The method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the variable capital and length of business had a significant positive effect on the income of street vendors, while the working hours variable had no effect on the income of street vendors and the results of the dummy variable type of merchandise were more directed to non-food traders. The coefficient of determination (R²) obtained is 0.381196 which means that a set of independent variables can explain the dependent variable by 0.341907 or 34%, while the rest is explained by other variables outside the model.
