Abstract

Guru Pembelajar Indonesia is a website-based company to fulfill user needs, such as providing national training services, learner teacher works, and certified seminar activities. User data storage is done by utilizing third-party cloud storage services, namely Google Drive. However, the company wants user data management to be done locally or privately. Server virtualization is required, which modifies the physical server to be virtual (intangible). Virtualization is done by creating a simulation of hardware, operating system, network and others. Proxmox VE (Virtual Environment) is a server virtualization platform that is widely chosen because of several factors such as being open-source, having an intuitive web interface and efficient infrastructure, and providing many features for managing servers, one of which is high availability (HA). In this project implementing high availability for reliable server needs. Companies need a reliable server to be used as cloud storage. The cloud storage implemented in this project is Owncloud. This project is an experiment in which the system implementation is not directly carried out to the main system. Based on the test data, it is known that the availability results are almost close to zero downtime. This means that users do not feel interference when accessing owncloud. Because the total availability level reaches 99.43%.
