Abstract

In developing countries, limited availability of capital and technology is often a barrier to stable economic growth. The different conditions of each country both geographically and demographically cause each country to continuously strive to promote stable and sustainable economic growth. Trade openness, foreign debt, planting of foreign capital, infrastructure, political stability and corruption are among the key factors in economic growth. The study aims to analyze whether there is an impact between trade openness, foreign debt, raising foreign capital, infrastructure development, political stability and corruption on ASEAN economic growth. The types of data used in this study are secondary data that are time series and cross section data from 2011 to 2020. The data was processed using panel data regression analysis with e-views software. The results of the study point to the variables of trade openness, foreign capital harvesting and political stability having a significant impact on ASEAN economic growth. While foreign debt variables, infrastructure development and corruption have no significant impact on ASEAN economic growth.
