Abstract

Company risks can come from internal and external companies. One of the risks faced by companies is financial distress. This study aims to look at the accuracy and ability of the Zmijewski, Grover, and Ohlson models in predicting financial distress in the ISSI Indexed Property, Real Estate, and Building Construction sectors. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling technique resulting in a sample of 24 companies in the Property, Real Estate, and Building Construction sectors for 10 years. The data was processed using Eviews version 10 using logistic regression test data analysis techniques. The results of the study state that the three models can predict company financial distress and the most accurate model in predicting financial distress is aimed at the Grover model, followed by the Ohlson model, and finally the Zmijewski model.
