Abstract

The phenomenon of job hopping or what is more generally called the phenomenon of moving between jobs is an important issue in the work because it will affect the productivity of a company in achieving goals. This study aims to determine the relationship between job satisfaction and work-family conflict with job hopping intentions in millennial generation employees. The research using quantitative correlational method. Sampling with G*Power Software and resulted in a total sample of 115 respondents who are employees of the millennial generation with a birth year range of 1980-2000. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The measuring instruments used in this study are the Job Satisfaction Scale, the Work-family conflict Scale, and the Job Hopping Intention Scale. Researchers conducted data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis, which was carried out with SPSS version 20 for windows. The result show that job satisfaction and work-family conflict have a partial or simultaneous relationship with job hopping intentions in millennial generation employees. This study shows that job satisfaction and job hopping intentions have a negative relationship, and work-family conflict and job hopping intentions have a positive relationship.
